Format
  • Offline: Paper-Pencil
  • Contest (Individual – Written): 20 questions in 45 minutes
    • National Honor Roll: Top 10% of Participants
    • Team Winner Medal: Highest scorer among each team
    • Team Achievement Plaque: Top 10% of Teams

4 Rounds (about 3 hours):

  • Sprint round (Individual – Written): 30 questions in 40 minutes
  • Target round (Individual – Written): 8 questions  (6 minutes for every 2 questions)
  • Team round (Team – Written): 10 questions in 20 minutes
  • Countdown round (Pair – Oral): Top 25% Students Compete. 3 Questions to decide a winner who gets most questions first.
  • AMC 8:
    • Standalone Test
    • Does not lead to AMIE
  • AMC 10:
    • Top 2.5% are invited for American Invitational Mathematics Exam (AIME)
    • Top  230 Students in USA based on 10*AIME and AMC 10 scores are invited to US Junior Mathematics Olympiad
  • AMC 12:
    • Top 5% are invited for AIME
    • Top  270 Students in USA based on 12*AIME and AMC 12 scores are invited to US Mathematics Olympiad
