We started Sandbox with a simple mission of making computer education fun, relevant and accessible to children. My job is to ensure everything we do at Sandbox is aligned with that mission. And to get out of the way to let my awesome team do their magic! I am a Computer Science Engineer with an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. I worked for 13 years for various pharma companies, the last seven of which were spent working with the best and the brightest at Amgen. My kids, Abhiram & Aditi are my inspiration and my wife, Leela, my anchor!

I graduated from CLU with a master’s degree in Computer Science. I have plenty experience in software and website development. I was a Graduate Assistant and project leader of the School of Management Faculty Report System when I studied at CLU. I also good at hardware development, I used to work with Intel to develop hardware in a famous Chinese computer company.
My bachelor degree is Logistics Engineering, I have learned a bunch of professional knowledge in Electronics and mechanical engineering. I like playing with kids, lead them to find the fun of STEM and let them learn some knowledge from newest technology.

I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Management Studies at Central Michigan University. My interest lies in Computer Science which is my major in the Engineering. Programming fascinates me. I am an avid fiction reader and I love writing. In short, I am a Writer by passion, a Programmer by choice and a Management student by education.

Agustin Pantoja

Agustin Pantoja graduated from California State University of Channel Islands in 2015 with a B.A in Studio Art, a Minor in Game Design, and a Certificate in Digital Media. His background includes Zbrush, Maya, Adobe Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, & After Effects. Several of his pieces have been on display at the Palm Gallery and the Napa Hall Art Gallery. Just recently his “Super Mario-Vania” piece was displayed in the Museum of Ventura County and at the Carnegie Art Museum which was hand picked by the director of the museum herself. He’s won the award for “Best Character Design” & “Technical Achievement” in the California State University of Channel Islands Student Art show.

I am currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science at California State University, Northridge. I have always been fascinated by technology and the power it provides to us. My areas of expertise are Android and Web Development. Aside from software I have also played around with several types of hardware. My favorite being the arduino board which gives almost an infinite amount of things to create. I truly believe technology will drive the future which is why I have such a passion for teaching it. I love to work with kids and guide them to understanding the topics taught at Sandbox.

I received my MBA from CLU and specialize in strategy, financial/cost analysis, forecasting, A/B testing with a heavy emphasis on the SQL programming language. During my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and help coach a little league baseball team.

Chaim Weinberg is pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science at California State University, Northridge. He is interested in going into the amusement park or telecommunications industries. He is an Eagle Scout and is an adult leader for his Boy Scout troop.

I’m an Electronics Engineer from JNTU India and a Principal IT Developer at Medtronic with over 11 years of experience. I research technology education products and consult on curriculum. I mentor teams on FIRST LEGO League and Junior FIRST LEGO League. I enjoy working with kids, and especially love encouraging girls to explore STEM.

I am a student filmmaker and freelance Video Editor living in Thousand Oaks, CA. I hope to one day reach a full-fledged career in the entertainment industry as a writer/director. As the oldest of nine kids, I have always enjoyed working with kids and teaching them what I know about the wonders of Multimedia through multiple design and film software. At Sandbox, I am able to do just that with many of our students. So happy to be a part of a team full of passionate people eager to share what they know about computers and technology.
